I grew up in South Africa so my mum is actually my Mom. I remember when I moved to the UK the trouble I had trying to find birthday and Mother’s Day cards for her that didn’t say ‘Mum’ on them. It’s much easier now that I make my own cards 🙂

There are so many different names for mothers.. Mum, Mom, Mama, Mommy, Mummy, Ma – and I’m sure there are plenty more I’m not even aware of! 

I took this into account when I decided to create my custom cards for mothers. As well as doing custom cartoon portraits of the buyer’s mother (because mothers come in all shapes, sizes and ages!), the text underneath can also be changed to suit. They’re suitable for Mother’s Day, Birthdays or any time you just want to make your Mum feel special.

Stick Figure Couples

I’ve been having fun with stick figure couples! A couple of weeks ago I added listings to my Etsy store for custom Valentine’s Day cards with personalised stick figure drawings. They seemed to be quite popular, with several orders coming in on Etsy that week and a few others via social media as well. And they were so much fun to do!
